Our Impact
The Tulong Foundation x Miss Texas
Our mission is to ensure that every woman & child has equitable access to education, food, and wellness resources. To date, our foundation has given over 40 scholarships to underprivileged youth in South Asia and built two local libraries. Additionally, we have constructed numerous fresh water drinking wells and invested thousands of dollars in women entrepreneurs in provincial villages.

Our Beneficiaries
The Miss Texas Scholarship Foundation
This year, I am honored to partner with the Miss Texas Scholarship Foundation to establish a namesake diversity and inclusion scholarship. A percentage of proceeds from the event will benefit the MTSF, a 501c3 nonprofit that provides scholarships and leadership development for Texas women.
I am a first generation college graduate. Without the Miss Texas organization, I would not have been able to pay off a substantial amount of my law school student debt! Through Miss Texas and the Miss America foundation, I have earned $86,000 in scholarships. I hope to encourage more women of color to pursue their academic aspirations.
